CMR2 patch?

You can't blame them for having their minds elsewhere on more important
things.
"Dear sir,
Thank you for your email. A Patch will be released in February. We are
aware of most of the problems with the game through customer comments, and
we do look at the Highgear forums from time to time. We can put forward
your suggestions however it is unlikely any of the suggestions would be
implemented other than a clearer indication of what is happening in a
Internet game.
If you have any further enquiries then don't hesitate to ask.
Regards,

It's VERY jerky at any screen size/depth! :( I've turned off nearly
everything that's available to turn off, and am running at 640x480x16,
just to keep it tolerable, and that's just barely :(
FWIW, I'm running the following..
Asus A7V, with 1007 bios revision
Athlon 1000Mhz
256mb PC133 CAS2
Creative Annihalator Pro (GeForce DDR) with nVidia reference drivers,
version 1080
SBLive! X-Gamer
DirectX v8.0
Win98SE with all patches applied
I've checked the thing out with 3DMark2000 and 2001 and tweaked the
bios settings and changed video drivers for maximum score to no
avail... :(

My friend only gets the jerkyness with Insane and CMR2 -- both
Codemasters releases -- and he's not using FF.
Something's wierd.

How true.
The Radeon should outperform the original GeForce as Radeon is more of a
GeForce2 fighter. But who knows, CMR2 could favour the Radeon's strengths
more than other games. F12K and GP3, for example, are nothing special on my
system... I'd like to see them much smoother than they are.
