You need to set the gamma values in your display properties - turn 'em down a
tad.

Cheers!

Howdy,

I am running Nascar Racing 1999 with a Diamond Monster 3dfx video card and
my graphics in the game are very bright and kind of washed-out looking
(while using the 3dfx version). The only way I can get it to look good is to
adjust my monitor settings every time I go into the game. While this
solution does work, it is kind of a pain in the butt.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Patrick Gilmore

I had the same problem iwth my Monster 3D.  Somehow the gamma got
raised to 1.7.  I set it back to 1.0 and all was fine.

You can do it on Control Panel.  Display
