Everyone PLEASE vote for a name for a simulator binaries group

Hello all,

I "talked" to Afzal Ballim ( the founder of this group) about getting
a binaries group for the auto sims made, and one of the minor things
that need to be done is to come up with the name we all want.  We can
easily do this by having a vote on it.  I gave myself the honors of
being the vote taker for it so now I'll tell everyone how to place
their votes.

First, be sure to have your REAL name and reply address in the "from:"
field when you vote.  Anonymous votes will not be accepted.

In your subject header, type in (without quotes) "I vote for ?".
Replacing the question mark with one of these numbers:

1 = alt.binaries.autos.simulators

2 = alt.binaries.simulators

3 = alt.binaries.autos.sims

4 = alt.binaries.sims

If you want to vote for another name, use the subject header
"I vote for other" with the proposed name in the message body.  If I
get very many votes for "other" and a name comes up more than once I
will call for a re-vote to take place in a week or so.

As a reminder, the name will have to start as alt.binaries.*, so no
need to vote in a name that doesn't start out with that.  A name such
as alt.sims.binaries would not be a valid name whereas
alt.binaries.sims would be valid. ( that's just the way it is folks)

we will have a place to post our binary files very soon. After about a
week of voting there will be a majority rules decision. (maybe sooner
if everyone seems to vote for the same name)

 And for those of you that have FTP sites for car sets, I don't
believe this will kill you.  The "new" group would be more likely used
for a few car trades and such.  The group would not be meant to
replace you! It will benefit everyone.
