Sounds like SIIG. They don't have time to reply to phone messages or email
either. I have had a sound card problem for a month and may as well***
into the wind as call them about it. My favorite part is when they have the
menu system on the phone ask if I would like to hold or leave a message.
It's long distance of course and I decide, "OK, I'll hold", So I choose
hold, 25 minutes later, the system tells me, please leave a message after
the beep, thank you, BEEEEEEEP. What the hell was that!?!?!? I just paid
for 25 minutes of Long distance, and leave a message anyhow!!!
So I leave a message, twice (the second time I chose message from the menu,
duh, got smart). It's about like calling the IRS. Don't call us, we'll
call you...
My patience is so thin with vendors anymore, I just start off being
pesomistic. If someone surprises me, I give em credit for it then. Until
then, I feel that the entire computer industry is out to***the general
public. Sad part is, it works, and we all tolerate it. So we bought a
peice of shit program or card that doesn't work... Oh well, go buy another
one. what else is new.
Try waiting for a version of Win95 that actually works. We'll be old and
gray before it's released. Hell, if MS started working on 95 right now, I'd
bet good money that by 2050, they couldn't fix all the bugs it has right
now, let alone all the ones they create with new code.
As for your original question, just post all over the newsgroups about all
the trouble you've had. Document everything. It seems to be the only way
to get anyone's attention. The only people who care are the ones who's job
it is to put out fires like the ones on the newsgroups. Just be glad it's
not microsoft you're trying to get satisfaction out of cause they don't even
give a shit enough to have someone out here putting out fires. If I had a
dollar for every time I reported a bug to MS, then saw the same problem in
the next release of a peice of software, I'd be Bill Gates.
I can help you out with the Pedal problem. If you are wondering what CH
will say, it'll probably be along the lines of, "Well, it sucks to be you.
Go buy another set ..."
