GPL Glance Question

by bertr » Thu, 01 May 2003 09:02:07

I haven't used the GPLGlance utility much, but now that I have a league
race coming up at the tight confines of Monaco, I thought that I'd give
it a try.  Unfortunately, I find that the display jitters quite a bit at
the same few points on the circuit -- namely at the righthander at the
top of the hill (***?) and then at the 2nd to last righthander before
the tunnel.  Note that this does not occur when not usng GPLGlance.

Is this normal, or do I need to tweak the GPLGlance settings somehow?

....and does this occur at many other circuits?

My system is an AthlonXP2100 with Radeon 9700 Pro running GPL in
DirectX.  GPLGlance Version is 2.1.

Thanks!
Bert

That's more machine than I have, and I honestly haven't noticed anything at
Monoco.  Maybe its happening and it doesn't bother me ;-), but if it is
flickering, it wasn't enough to stand out or notice.

I have 25% effect, 30% damping, and "combine the two above" checked.  And it
works quite well.

good luck,
jeff

In severel posts I read, that if you put the look left/right function back
to keyboard (not on the wheel) this may help. It works fine for me
