Hi Randy,
A few weeks ago i posted this msg below, remember?

" Is This possible? Can I host a race with this setup?I mean ,i connect
to

Can you actually get two Dialup Networking connections working at once?
I've never tried it, so I don't know if it's even possible.

Assuming it is, GPL would have no problem identifying and using both
dialup connections.  But chances are it would either be very flaky, or
be on the verge of being very flaky.  Windows seems to have a difficult
enough time servicing one serial port when the CPU is very busy (and
GPL does tend to keep the CPU rather busy :-)  I shudder to think what
would happen if two serial ports were screaming for attention.

If you do try it, let us know how it works.

Randy"

Yes ,I tried and... IT WORKS!!!!!!!!
At first Windows 98 doesn't allow it when you try  to connect to your
2nd ISP(it doesn't need to be the same isp).But there's a trick here.Go
to add and remove programs/windows setup/communications and then install
private network option from the win98 cdrom.
Now ,it will work and you will see 2 modem icons as soon as the
connections are established.
I didn't find a way to see my 2nd ip immediately, but both are listed on
GPL multiplayer screen. So everybody joins by the 1st IP and then inside
the game we re-distribute between the 2 ip's.It worked very nicely. My
connections speeds were 52000bps(digital line) and 33600(analogue
line),(both internal 56k ISA modems)and despite the poor brazilian
telephone lines,it was rock stable for more than 2 hours we've played(we
were 6 people).Pings were around 300 and the other guys reported good
connections to the host and the others.
So there's hope for all of us modem GPL players!!!!.Just get 4 modems ,4
phone lines, 4 isp's and you'll be as good as a cable modem host(don't
forget to have lots of cash,:-)  )
I will try today to host for 7 people and maybe we'll have
sucess. There's a possibility of a third line connection, but i've got
find someone to lend me a 3rd modem :-)

PS:This system is already patented and it's called RAFA DSL   :-)
PS:Don't you think I deserve GPL 1.1 right now!!!!!!!!!  hehe ,  :-)
