Hello everyone,

I hear all about this ICR 1 yet can't find out if the one i keep seeing
in the stores(on the clearence tables) is the same it's on cd-rom but i
thought it would be boxed ? As you would need a manual or is that on the
cd-rom ? Price is 7.00-9.99 so figure what the hell if it's the right
one guess i'll get it. So any thoughts on this or is this how it's sold?

At that price, it would be safe to assume it's ICR, and not ICR2/
CART Racing which carries a retail price of $29.95.

Cheers!

If the packaging says it's IndyCar Racing, it's probably the original
sim. I bought mine about a year ago in a box. Inside the cardboard box
was the CD-ROM in a jewel box -- no manual! So, the fact that it's now
selling in just a jewel box, like lots of other "golden oldies," is no
surprise. Lots of "classic" games are being sold in jewel boxes
without any documentation. The help files are usually found on the
CD-ROM.

I just reinstalled it a couple of days ago.  And it is great fun racing
in the rain, with some ai to race against.  Go for it.
