New MGPRS patch 1.05

by jalo » Thu, 25 Feb 1999 04:00:00

There is a new patch for MGPRS out, version 1.05.
It makes the volume way to low with my SBLive, even with all the sounds
maxed.
Other than that I can't tell any difference.
I have not tried it on-line yet.

New MGPRS patch 1.05

I just installed the new 1.05 patch, and the sounds are extremely low on my
SBlive sound card too.  I have "engine sound" set to the maximum in
configuration.  The sound was pretty good with the previous versions.  Anybody
know how to fix this?

Hi,

maybe anyone else has seen this with version 1.04 (3dfx)? Leave the
pits in career mode, all of a sudden the ubisoft installer gets fired
up, you exit if (of course) and return to racing paused? Very strange.

Another one: Loading Brazil for hotlapping gives a "Fatal error" in
proven windows lingo, no further explanation, hints, whatever. This
happens just before the green loading bar hits the right edge, I'd say
at 95% or so.

Man, do I look forward to debugging those problems with native Linux
versions...  when will they learn? I'll try the 1.05 update and see if
that cures the problem.

Thanks for your hints and thoughts,

Uwe
