Hey Tom, this email problem is really weird!
I use Eudora 5.0, and yesterday I send you a normal email with a bit of
text, without any attachment. And you receive an empy email from me,
without a subject, but with this weird winmail.dat attachment..

When I got your reply that you got an empty message from me, I
emailed you a new message with something like 'Tom, does this work
ok?' in the subject header. And again you receive an empty email..

You wrote that you never had this problem before, but on my turn I also
didn't, I tested with a couple of people  and I can mail everybody
normally except you.. Really strange :)

Anyway, the mail wasn't that important, just a bit of chitchat and
informing about the status of a couple of your projects.

Ok, going to try it one more time now, using Agent Pro as email client
instead..

Cheers,
Andre

Andre...

I'm replying via r.a.s., just in case.  I just sent you another
"reply".....to an email from you, again with no text.  But this time, it was
rejected and returned as "addressee unknown."  This is totally weird.  Try
sending me a plain text.....with Eudora....also try sending a "plain text"
using Outlook or Outlook Express (you may need to quickly configure one of
them for your ISP's email server.....set to default, then delete that after
you've sent the email.

as your email program, would you mind if Andre sent you an email too.  This

accepting email generated through Eudora (always has, but who knows what can
change).....that would be great, if you could help us out.

My apologies for using this forum for fixing an email problem.  Hope its not
too much of a bother for everyone?

Regards,

Tom

Tom,

Yesterday I send you an email from within Agent Pro, that was the one
which got rejected when you tried to reply. The rejection was because I
had an old not working email adres in my Agent Pro.
I also used an dial-up provider instead of my cable connection to see if
it was because of my provider, but you still got an empty message from
me.. Totally weird and I have NO idea what could cause this :(

Don,
How do you like 6.0 beta? I have been toying with the idea of trying it but
my system is working so nice right now I was leery of trying beta code and
screwing it all up.
TIA,
Robin

Not enough changes really to warrant going to it - I did so mainly to see if
it would help my off and on slowness issue in OE.
Bout the only thing I have seen it add as far as OE is a couple more
security measures in regards to email and html messages. I really don't see
a difference yet in IE.
