3DFX batch

3DFX batch

I have previously posted that after installing the 3DFX patch
that I was disappointed in it. That the colors and contrast were less
vivid than those in N2. I had also placed the command lines in the
nascar2.bat file,or so I thought.

Well, tonight I tried one last time to get the patch
to work and live up to the level of 3DFX. This time I used the command
lines that NOS posted. WOW,what a difference. The colors were
sharp, clear, and just a vivid as those in  NAS2. Only the fans in the
stands were different, but who cares,I really don't have time to look
at them when I'm driving.

3DFX is certainly worth it. I'm sure glade that I
tried just one more time. So for all of you that experienced similar
results to mine the 1st time, try Nos's command lines. You won't be
disappointed.

And thanks to Sierra/Papyrus and 3DFX for the effort to bring
us this patch free of charge.

Regards,

Joel Willstein

Depending on your 3dfx card. I have an original Diamond Monster. The bat
file I use is:
set N2FXAA=2
SET N2FXFOG=0.01
SET N2FXFOGCOLOR=0xa8a8a8
SET N2FXLOAD=0x200000
SET SST_FASTMEM=1
SET SST_FASTPCIRD=1
SET FX_GLIDE_SWAPINTERVAL=0
SET SST_SCREENREFRESH=75
SET SST_RGAMMA=1.10
SET SST_GGAMMA=1.10
SET SST_BGAMMA=1.10
SET SST_GRXCLK=57
GNS3DFX.EXE -3DFX

Looks good.
