PS: I better add that I never even tried the unmodified F1-2001 'cos modern
F1 doesn't turn me on at all.
I don't like the way they handle in a sim even if its realistic.
So I have nothing to measure the mod against, and no
previous experience with the game engine at all...
WSC was meant to be, but we're still waiting..?

I don't consider myself as a particulary good driver (But I have
beaten Andre Warringa in a GP at Monza) but how are you supposed to
keep these cars on the track? In GPL I can trow the cars around and
save it most of the time, but in the MOD I have a hard time not
spinning. I do think the sensation of speed could have been better, it
may be because so much of the view is blocked by the interior of the
car.

I agree. The cars do not "feel" fast.
That said, this mod is fun, fun, fun. As far as keeping the cars on the
road... I just finished my first quick race and it felt like the first time
I drove GPL. Spin, crash... spin, crash, etc.. :)
