What is GPLSeason?

On Joe Lafite's KOTR Web site he talks about Carsets for GPL Season and Cars
NOT for GPL Season. What is the difference? I'd like to install the 1.4
patch and get ALL the improvements for the 1967 season but I don't play
multiplayer (How can you when you live in the bush in Australia and can only
get 28.8 at the best as the lines are very noisy?) and don't want to stuff
up my GPL and have to do it all again.

Regards

This is from the Readme file for GPLSeason:

"GPLSeason makes the installation of carsets for Grand
Prix Legends easy by storing all information about the
teams, drivers and cars in one file. You can then patch
GPL with this information in one simple operation."

GPL Season is a util that allows you to replace carset for differing
seasons,(1966,67,68 and 70 are avilable ,i think).
It will back up your 67 season first (if you want to go back to it)then
replace it for the new season's cars.
Carsets usually contain (not all)
New car textures
Sounds (sometimes)
Some track textures.
Drivers Photos.
All drivers names.
Wings  (on the 70's carset)
Correct power setting for that season.

So as you can see they are very comprensive.

Give it a try and see what you think.

Without GPL seasons you will have to change all the things mentioned
manually ,which will take time and you will have to back up everything
yourself, which again takes time,GPL seasons can do it all in a matter of
seconds.

I find it very good.
