Okay, I've been waiting patiently for this patch, but now I'm getting
pissed. Let's get the damn thing out the door, please - I WANNA RACE
ONLINE! (and NO I do not want to race via Kali).

Barry, all I can say is that you must have a hell of a good setup
man doing your settings! :-) By the way, I've bettered mine to 4.495 at
332.52, guess i'll have to fire the game up again! Hvae to try and go for
the 4.30's!
Pete
MPLAYER is hoping to have BURNOUT available by the end of the week. We
have done out part and now it is in MPLAYER's hands.
Bethesda Softworks
Brian, still getting quicker! 4.463 at 335
Pete
Brian, we are using an 8 cylinder which is less than 800 cubic inches!
Remember, you still have to be able to get the car to hook and pull all the
way
through the quarter mile! Bigger and more isn't necessary better!
Pete
BTW, We are using 8 cyl. engines.

>> wwwooooohhhhhooooo thats fast!!!!!!! quicker the fast can get
>ready!!!!!
>> any faster and you'll run into yourself in the burnout pad!!!!!
I have a 66 Mustang setup that uses a 351 8cyl engine (slightly tweaked ;^)
and will run 5.5's.
So not only is it possible to do 5 sec runs on 8 cyl it's very enjoyable too.
However I do have a 12 cyl, 4767 hp beast in the stable also, for those times
the 351 ain't gettin it ;^)
Bob
Brian, if your ever get to an NHRA drag race watch how the "stock"
class guys do a burnout. No big smoke shows! A light dusting is all that is
required. In fact the big smoke shows will slow you down signifigantly with
the hp cars. If I do manual Burnouts I usually just do a couple of dry hops
or chirppies. Doing them the same way everytime is what makes you
consistant!
