Did I make a Good Buy??

Hi I was just woundering something. I bought Nascar 2 and right after
that I finally bought the Thrustmaster T2. It make the game MUCH easier
to drive than with a joystick:) But One question...HOW the hell do you
keep the pedals from sliding on the floor?!?! Every time I push down on
them, the whole unit slides on the rug. It would be much easier to drive
if they didn't always move:) Also my desk top is to thick to for the
clamps. So is their anyway to keep the Steering wheel from sliding also?
Oh one more thing, I can't get the whole steering wheel to fit. I can't
get the***hole lined up. It doesn't go all the way down. Any
suggestions? Plus I also just ordered the Screamming 3D Video card.
Should I have waited or was it a good move. Anything that what I have
would be bettter. I'd really like to see all the graphics on sometime.
Well, I guess that's it. Tell me what you think:)

Your T2 should have come with four square ***
stickons for your pedals; one for each corner. This helps prevent the
sliding on the floor. If they were not included you should call
thrustmaster and I'm sure they will send them to you. They are well
respected by many including myself for their great customer service.
Hope this helps.

Hi there, I solve the problem by puting velcro on the floor and the
pedals units, and everything, is all right like that.

Yes, it is much easier...being that you have a rug, I'm assuming you mean
carpet, and not an area rug that itself will slide around...if possible, try
putting something behind the pedal unit that can ***up against the wall.  I
used a book lying flat, but I was close enough to the wall to be able to do
that.  Maybe a board or a plank?  Something that will make contact with the
pedal unit and wall if possible.  If not, I have heard of people literally
drilling concrete bolts through the carpet...but that's a little drastic :-)

To keep my pedals from sliding I simply removed the rear floor mat from
my work van and drilled two holes to mount the assembly to the mat. The
mat is the type with the 100's of nubs and I cant move it without
lifting it from the carpet.

Hey! My dad would probably do that!  He dug up the whole front yard
just to put in a flower garden!  (Sort of like home improvement with
out as many accidents).
