Can't help about the shape i'm in
Can't win, it ain't pretty and my tires are thin...
thx heaps just what I wanted:):
RefreshForce, IMHO, is the best and most useable of the Refresh Rate fixers
out there. It works where many others fail because it actually access the
monitor and driver records in Windows PROPERLY.
However, you should make sure you have the correct Monitor driver installed
first. If your Monitor is just shown as a "Plug & Play Monitor", then it is
using the generic driver. Go to the manufacturers web site and get and
install the correct driver first.
If there is no driver, then at least make SURE you do not set the refresh
rate to a value higher than what the specs say the Monitor can support.
Doing so can cause serious damage to the Monitor, especially lower-cost
monitors.
I'm suprised that at 1024X768 the highest refresh rate yours can support is
60hz. Is this a really old Monitor?
What kind of monitor is it?
