This may be stupid to post, but I always get a kick out of whenever I hear
of a racer using a simulator to learn a track.  I wonder what simulator he
used, hehe.  (copied and pasted from a Nascar Online article:)

"Earnhardt Jr. prepared for the test session by using a simulator, but still
found the terrain tough. He twice suffered spins exiting Turn 7, both times
landing in the gravel trap."

This is probably new news for you but..

Dale Jr has been well known to be racing against us online using Nascar
Racing 2 back on the NROS, Nascar Racing 3 on WON.NET and even Dirt Track
Racing.  Many of us know him, he's real simracing freak, and one of the many
real-life racecar drivers who race online.  You would be surprised to see
the names of some drivers who race anonymously! ;-)

Jr.. has been racing online for quite some time.  N2 on TEN that I know
of and I can only assume he's tried others.

I've heard one (or both) of the Labonte brothers were in the sim-racing
community.  It would be cool to say "I've raced at Bristol against Terry
Labonte!"  It wouldn't *matter* that it was a game...<g>

That's weird.  I heard that he used an ACT LABS wheel.
