inporting .pcx files into N2 paint shop

by John Goodhar » Mon, 30 Dec 1996 04:00:00

Hopefully somebody can help with a problem I'm having importing pcx files
into N2  paint shoop.  I go into driver info and create a new driver with
name of the pcx file I want to inport and then go into paint shop and hit
the inport buttom, but the program always tells me that it can't find the
file.  I have tried putting the file into the nascar2 dir and nascar2/cars
dir but still get the same error message.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Here's an example of importing a pcx file.  Say your car is called
A_BCDE.  When trying import a pcx the file must be designated Xa_bcde.
N2 puts an X in front of the file name when it exports a pcx.  The limit
after the "_" is five characters.

When importing a pcx file be sure that you have an "X" at the beginning
of the file name.  ie. if your car name is B_Ford, then the pcx file
must be named XB_Ford.  Hope that helps.
