rec.autos.simulators

Just got my Nas2 the other day after some 2 odd years with the
original, and I gotta say I reakky like it better!

But, as usual, I gotta***with stuff, so heres my question.

I downloaded a great text on how to put my picture in the
T_PLAYER.Dat, yet when I try to bring it up in the game, it throws
everything off to 2 colors. Now, when trying to convert the file for
N2 in Paint Shop Pro, it will tell me that it can't save it as a .pcx
w/o dropping the colors to just two. This is even after loading the
nascar2.pal.

What am I missing here?

Another quick one,.....does anyone have blank .pcx's for the cars, or
templates? I remember getting them for Nascar1 and they were great.

Lifes too short,....don't fold your underwear!

says...
Make sure you are saving your PCX file with version 5 not version
0 or 1.  The older ones allow only two colors.

Do a save AS and see what version is selected under the PCX format.
