It may not be new as in "from scratch," but you can bet that if it weren't
for the personal dedication of the sim heads at Papy, we wouldn't be using
this patch. Sierra, or EA, or any others would no more give resources to
this (i.e., to help their loyal customers) than fly to the moon.
