Rally Master problems

I can't configure my lwff properly in Rally Masters.
I have a lwff and ch pedals. When I choose acceleration and press my
ch pedal, it reckognizes my ch pedal as it should. But when I choose
my ch pedal as a brake pedal it doesn't reckognize it.

I want my left upper button on my lwff configured as the handbrake.
I choose the handbrake option, press my lwff button, and it just
doesn't reckognize it.

So I deleted my ch pedals from the joystick properties to see if this
would couse the problems. The lwff pedals were reckognized fine, but
again I couldn't assign my lwff button as the handbrake button.

I don't know too much about programming, but is it really that hard to
program these controllers? RC2000 needed some patches to fix the
separate axis problems, and I find it quite ridiculous that Rally
Masters isn't able to simply reckognize my lwff.
I mean, a lwff is not such an alien choice for a steering device, or
is it?

Do I sound a little bit frustrated here? Ok, after messing for more
than an hour and still not getting the lwff working with rally masters
I am...

I use the LWFF wheel, and in the control options screen, if you scroll down
with your keyboard down arrow, it listed my LWFF.  Selected it and it
automatically configured it for me.  Might be worth a try.

That does work, but I want to assign the buttons myself (I don't like
the standard configuration).
Actually I solved to problem. It turned out that the button I wanted
to use for my handbrake was allready assigned to the rear view.
Thanks to the really bad menu I didn't see this, and the program
didn't warn me about this.
Still can't get the ch pedals working.

But after playing for about an hour, I don't think I will ever start
this game again, I don't like it at all. RC2000 is much better and
more realistic imho.

So they didn't fix the controller assignment bug for the the final release.
I had a lot of trouble with this in the demo.
