...and it will cost 45,95$, of course ;-)

(it's still going to need a patch after!)

Too late, I've got F2001 now which IMO beats F1RC so I wont be downloading
the patch anyways. Hope the 2 people who can still drive F1RC enjoy it
whenever its released.

I think we have more chance of seeing WSC before the F1RC patch (well at
least I'm hoping so)!

I race with real people, so I don't need a patch for F1RC, but for
F1 2001 (lots of mulitplayer problems).

I am and will continue to do enjoy F1RC, thanks :)

After about 2 months away from GPL playing F1RC, I went back and set a
new PB at kyalami by half a second.  I expect to make serious inroads
in my pathetic GPLRank over the next few weeks. :)

Starting to get the hang of using throttle to assist steering.  I
don't know what the technical terms are for this, but it sure does
make a huge difference for me.  F1RC has allowed me to learn to use my
MSFF wheel in a more forgiving manner than GPL.  My driving around
Monza & Kyalami is already feeling a lot better.

Oh and btw, I got royally slammed up the arse a coupla times at the
end of the straight at Kyalami when I probably am a bit tentative.
Reminds me of another game, that...

Sorry for all the GPL stuff in an essentially F1RC thread.

Regards all,
istoff

Repeat the "backmarker's Motto" after me....
Get off the racing line at Parabolica  Get off the racing line at
Parabolica.  Keep track of Surtees, do Not pass him anywhere near
Parabolica.  My backside will appreciate it.

hehehe

i am soooo tentative around parabolica, i deserve to be planted in the
sand.  in fact. i crash there so often it is a self-fulfilling wish.

my 'main' problem around monza remains braking correctly into the
first lesmo and then accellerating smoothly out of the second.

i am so desperate that i have enabled braking assistance in GPL to see
if I can do it better.  somebody mentioned a long time ago that being
smooth through the lesmos might seem slower, but actually is faster.
will have to see.

istoff
