Ride height and bump ***s?  If I have my bump ***s set at 1.0
inches and my static ride height set at 1.0 inches.. Am I resting on the
bump ***s?  Or am I sitting one inch above the bump ***s?   All
the comments on this subject have yet to answer this question.

There is a great deal of confusion about this issue. The best explanation of
this, in my opinion, is to be found at Dave Schwabe's page:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/~schwabe/chassis.html
Paragraph 4  - Ride height
I hope this helps. by the way Mike what were your conclusions about toe-in?
all the best

Hi !

Well, you know, the suspension in those cars is not like it is in civil cars.
Just take a look at the GPL main screen. Take a look at the suspension.Ride
height may aswell be only 1inch, but if your suspension moves one inch towards
the chasis (thus lowering the car to the ground) that isn't the 1inch movement
of the car towards the ground. You can have 2 or maybe even 3inches of
suspension movement and still not run on the *** stuff :o)

But if you do run on bump stops, then the car just feels tight, not at all
like in real world when it would send you off the track/road.
