Just to show once again how one short question in the right place (in
this case the Hasbro/MicroProse feedback forum on their site -- anybody
remember that?) is worth a thousand times more than any amount of
jingoistic "I'm Superior To You" bandwidth-wasting claptrap, I just
received this email from Mike Scott at MicroProse:

Sorry for the inconvenience, that was a mistake on our website, GP3 will be
released in the US next year, along with everywhere else.

Interesting how much we learned about the personalities who haunt this
NG, though, huh?

Yeah, perhaps.  But perhaps you could take the time to READ the newsgroup
and realize this same message has appeared in at least 2 or 3 other threads.

Yeah, perhaps -- but some of us blind post occasionally without reading
the newsgroup, and since I was the first one to point out a few days ago
that Hasbro/MicroProse had a feedback form on their website, and that
instead of propounding endless theories based entirely on speculation,
it might be better to bombard Hasbeen/MP with stentorian indignation and
see what transpired. Therefore, I took my well-earned and perfectly
legal gloating options and applied them in a way that gave me the most
satisfaction. See how easy?

No doubt about it.  You're a hero, Bart.
