Well, you just got lucky.  I had a guy from Sierra TECH SUPPORT tell me that
Aces would NOT run on a Cyrix...
But YOU may have an update that fixed the problem.

To save you a call.. here's a section of the FAQ that I will be
posting in a few seconds:

The hardware detection phase may incorrectly identify Pentium Pro,
Cyrix 686 and Intel MMX machines as using an "Unknown" processor type.
Simply ignore this message, continue with the installation and the
game should run fine.
