                   Little Formula 3000 World Championship
                               Round 15 of 16
                            Grand Prix de Monaco

Facts:
   Track Length:  2.068 miles
   Percentage:  30%
   Laps:  23
   Total Distance:  47.564 miles
   AI Grip Setting:  1
   Human BHP Setting:  700
   Weather Conditions:  Dry
   Approx. Time:  40 minutes

                           Race Descriptions
Novice:
Monaco, a tight and slow street circuit, which dominating seems to
be a trait.  Winning this race will be no problem.  Traffic, however, will
be a huge factor.  This is the only race this season in which you'll have
a chance to lap the field, and lapping several cars 2 or 3 times.  There's
not many places to get clean passes here, so you'll have to muscle your way
around slower traffic.  Tyres won't be a factor.

   Lap Records:
     Qualifying:  1m28.171s  Wilson (9.3.1994)
     Race:  1m30.195s  Wilson (13.3.1994)
   Previous Winners:
     1994 LF1:  Wilson 2h02m50.936s (13.3.1994) (100%)
     1993-4 LF2:  Wilson 31m16.854s (29.12.1993) (25%)
     1993 LF2:  Wilson 32m22.046s (3.10.1993) (25%)
     1993 LF1:  Terry 2h07m30.795s (9.5.1993) (100%)

Pro:
Being tight, passing is difficult, so some 'bumping' maybe necessary
to get to the front.  Winning shouldn't be too difficult, but traffic will
be tough. Tyres aren't a factor.

   Lap Records:
     Qualifying:  1m14.962s  Ginste (6.5.1993)
     Race:  1m16.882s  Van Hook (13.3.1994)
   Previous Winners:
     1994 LF1:  Chiu 1h45m55.021s (13.3.1994) (100%)
     1993-4 LF2:  Anderson 27m15.101s (29.12.1993) (25%)
     1993 LF2:  Harris 27m22.577s (3.10.1993) (25%)
     1993 LF1:  Sink 1h47m41.917s (9.5.1993) (100%)

Results are due Sunday, Dec. 11th by 10pm ET.

Congrats to Steve Habenicht and to Mark Pearson for winning.  And I
must apologize to Paul Sturm, I forgot to change this last week and left
him out. Sorry, Paul.
There seems to be a little confusion about starting positions.  If
you are not listed above, you MUST start your race 26th.  Also, if you miss
a race, the SLOWEST time is scored for your championship standings.
As for the AI BHP files for next season, it seems split as to
whether there should be a manditory file or not.  Those who want the
manditory file want it so that no one runs extremely low AI BHP so they can
get through the field quickly.  Those who don't want the manditory file
believe that, not matter how high you set the AI BHP, you can't get a
competitive race at some tracks (ie. Monaco).  There are advantages and
disadvantages to both, so I've tried to come up with a compromise.  There
will be not manditory file to set the individual car strenght, but there
will be a minimium setting which not AI car can be lower than.  Right now,
I've tentively set the minimium settings as such:  825 for Novice and Ace,
and 800 for Pro.  Please, if you have any comments, feel free to send them
in, I'll try to get to them ASAP.  And hopefully, the final draft of the 95
rules will be posted by Dec. 18th.
Make sure that if you finished in the top three to send your log

send their log file in optionally.
Results for Monaco are due December 11th.  Good Luck!
