setups/rain ICR2

by Zo » Wed, 31 Jan 1996 04:00:00

I recently purchased ICR2 and it's really great. In ICR1 it rained a
lot (except for the ovals, of course), choosing the "random weather"
option. I'm wondering if it ever rains in ICR2. What about rain tires?

The cars in ICR2 seem much harder to drive. Can anyone provide me,
without revealing all of his/her secrets, some decent setups for the
oval tracks at a rate of, let's say 95 % competition ?

Rick Genter said, if I remember his post correctly, that there would
be no rain in ICR2.

This isn't an oval track setup (it's for long beach), but I got some
good leads by downloading this guy's setup:

Mr Genter stated that the rain feature has been omitted from ICR2.
Cannot remember the reason nor if they intend to implement it later.
I don't think so.

Papyrus felt they couldn't do justice simulating racing in the rain so
they removed it as an option in ICR2.
