When your racing, somethimes the server will loose track of you. This is
called "warping". It is due to numbers of possible things, but mostly
because of a poor connection for that little period or a spike in the
current one.  If this warping is been done at the Start/Finish line, it can
indeed show unrealistic laptimes. But your still at the same virtual space.
It's a normal thing for online racing. There's nothing to be affraid of ;-)

Has anyone had the problem like me:

Racing online at Monza, approx 4th place after 2nd lap. computer said 19th
with 3.11 lap time.

Frustrating as I started 9th from 19 and was on for a good race.
