ICR2

I purchased the newest version of ICR2 (the one that contains the Win95
version of the sim).

Is the Dos version contained on the CD already "patched"?  I tried painting
a car, but there's a white stripe down the center of the engine cover
(behind the***pit), and I can't get rid of it.  I seem to remember this
being a problem with the prior version of ICR2's paintshit - er - paintkit.

If anyone's got any info, I'd appreciate hearing about it...

The DOS version is patched to version 1.01, however there are some minor
fixes so go find the 1.01-1.02 patch at www.sierra.com

Since your paintkit is broken that would explain why all of the patches
don't fix the paint program.  They simply ran a Patch-Making program
against the new version and compiled changes for the patch.  I can't
believe how shoddy the QA has been lately with Papyrus/Sierra On-Line
(s.o.l.)!  Is this all due to Sierra?

You can find the patch for the paintkit at my web page:

Install the Win95 version, and use that Paintshop program. It is
a much much better paintshop.

Thanks, Scott, and I am glad you are still around here. Thought you
might have left in the exodus from the ICR2 meanies out here. Ignore
them; I think they are a minority.
