I use the converted nascar tracks primarily & I wanted to know if I should use
the patch to convert to Win95. Please let me know some opinions.

Emphatically, NO!!! The frame rate under win95 is significantly reduced,
even on a relatively quick (Pent 100) system with good graphics cards. I
recommend staying in DOS and enjoying greater detail without sacrificing
frame rate and feel.

I think the colors on the converted tracks are all messed up with the
Win95 version of ICR2. Stick with the DOS version. When I patched to
Win95, I got more headaches and crashes (computer) than it was worth.

Best bet is to make a DOS multi-config menu... yes, it works with
Win95, even though MS did away with DOS and AUTOEXEC and CONFIG
files...

The Win95 version has more bells and whistles but gameplay is FAR better
and the framerate is smoother in the DOS version.
