Well.... at least I don't feel alone!  I tape all the NASCAR races on
TV.  Take one of those tapes, put it in, and then watch it from the
in-car camera.  Also the regular shots help some.

Tip I have learned from others: put car-damage to OFF, run a few laps.
I think I got maybe 2 laps in max each time I tested there, before I
had to come in and replace a wheel :(

Also, hit replay and watch the others.  I've found that driving
behind another drivers helps learn the line quicker.

if they pull away from you, that's a good indication you should be
picking up the pace at that particular point.

if you almost rear-end em', chances are there's a good reason they
slowed down.

I raced there, actually qualified like 4 cars from the rear (21 car
field.  Was in 13th on the final lap, hit the last esses before the
long run down to the hairpin.  Got into someone else and I finished
LAST with no wheel on the right front.

ahhh, frustrations!

Go #6 Mark Martin and #16 Ted Musgrave - Jack Roush Racing!!

Tonight I suffered through another miserable round at Sears Point.  If a
couple of cars hadn't fallen out it would have been a total waste of time.

I have won races on many tracks, but someone tell me, how long does it
take to learn that Sears Point place.  I did get an 84 mph lap, but I
can't do it consistently.

I got an 86.?? mph lap and qualified on the pole last night.  Just
tweaked the ace setup with lower gears, to get off the corners better.
Even used auto braking, and shifting. --
