Well I downloaded both of the programs that were suggested in this
group. Ran both of them and tryed a race on both. Not a lot of fun. It
shore wasn't like Hawaii. Guess I'm spoiled. First off you have to
find someone to race, with the chat screen scrolling by. Then you have
to decide who's going to dial and who's going to answer. Ok that all
done you go to the game and through short chat session and onto the
race if thats what you call it. The cars were disappearing I guess you
call it warping. Just not a good experience.
Its not that turn the computer on on a saturday after noon sign on
pick the race you want to join and go racing kind of thing.

I had the same experience. I have 150-200 ms latency for most servers
and the players that where on had ping time in the 300-500's. The play
sucked to the point of unusable. Hawaii has it's problems but at least
you can get a real race in.

Not very encouraging.
