The 2 games I have been waiting for all year are GT3 and WSC. Well GT3
finally arrived about 9 months late, but was worth the wait. But now I am
hearing rumours that WSC is dead, or will not be out for another year or
more. So what is there to really look forward to as the next great advance
in PC racing games?
I am not really looking forward to sequels of N4, nascar heat, and F-1
racers. I want something special with a variety of cars, like SCGT maybe.
Maybe a racer with a great course editor.

Olly, relax :) - rumours are just rumours. After the bashing the guys got
when releasing the last set of screenshots (i.e. the "Put up or shut-up
comments") I am not surprised at all that they are not releasing any more
info at the present time.

I dont have too many worries about WSC being dead. Personally I think it is
alive and well and before you know it youll have it on you HD. As for what is
there to look forward to....well im guessing F1-2k1 will probabaly make an
apperance sometime in Q4 of this year (anyone know anything on this?), maybe an
expansion pack for N4 (just a guess), I've heard rumors of a DTR-SC2 from
Ratbag, possibly an update to GP3....
And then theres the possibility of TPTCC for N4 (probably a ways off), more new
tracks for GPL, and a whole host of other 3rd party addons.

All of this is of course speculation on my part but I think youll see some nice
things in the next 6 months. Can I proove any of this? No I cant
really...like I said, I'm simply speculating. But if history is any teacher,
there will be things to look forward too. However WSC will probably still be
what were all waiting for...
