intro, and then I am bounced back to the desktop. Does anyone have any
idea what is causing this.

Just a note: The PCI-express versions of 6600/X700 should be available
very soon, AGP version are a couple of months away, at least...
The 9800Pro-route would be almost as good though, and probably a
little cheaper.

whats your psu like? u really need a minimum 350 watts depending if your
running 2 hd\s ,dvd`s etc. these new gfx cards take they`re power from your
psu so extra umph needed or else you will get probs. i have a 350 and 2
hd`s, 2 dvd`s but i leave my dvd burner unplugged until i need it to save
on power, can still give lockups etc from lack of juice,i really need 400+
for a 100% stable system. good luck, same upgrade as mine,gf2 gts lasted me
for 5 years and is still a great card for a low end system.

You can get some very good silent VGA coolers these days if things get too
noisy. Mind you if you're playing RBR you won't hear a thing from your PC if
your speakers are working properly ;-)

You might want to get a 400watt PS if you don't have one. I have seen a
few people
blow their 300Watt or get poor performance out of their video card as a
result of the
power being low.
