I would hire the services of D. Keamer(sp?) and the other lovely people who
created GPL. I would give them all the equipment they required, and ask them to
create the ultimate simulator. They would spend the next few years of their
lives creating the perfect driving models of three cars. A Champ Car, a
Stockcar and a Formula One car. That's all they would have to work on, no
carsets, menu backgrounds, tracks, sounds ...anything. The three 'sims' would
be released on the 'net for free, with one track (as an example) and a track
editor.

The rest would be left to the rest of the sim racing comunity to create the
carsets, the tracks, the sounds and the graphics.

Now wouldn't that be just dandy? Incidently, does anyone car to hazzard a guess
as to how much these guys earn?

Well, if I had five million Pounds I certainly wouldn't be spending any of
it on financing a simulation, for Christs sake!!! :o)

(More likely I'd be spending my time deciding which historical F1 car to
purchase and race!)
