GP3 aka GP2 with an upgrade.....yuk

I'm getting tired of people that are tearing down gp3. I'm sure it was just
like that when gp2 was getting released. It turned out to be the best.
Geoff Crammond has never let us down so far. If he thinks it isn't perfect,
he won't add it into the game, so everything that's in the game will be
good. Some (more or less important) stuff can be missing, untill it will at
it's best and then it'll be added in a  patch or in gp4.
Now you guys are like 'nooo, it's no good, it won't have this or that...'
but when it's released all of you will be praising it.

Now there's all the gossip about WSC, it'll have this and that. When some of
it won't be in the game (very possible) you will be tearing it down again.

Geoff's track record for patches is almost nil....  No enhancements or
major fixes.  So if you expect a patch you need to call it GP4.  I don't
think anyone is saying GP3 will be junk, but that they are highly
disappointed that Geoff seems to be missing the boat with a few things
(especially considering how long it's been in development).

Don't hold your breath for a FF patch.  Don't hold your breath for any
enhancement patches.  This is not Geoff's style and I doubt that Hasbro
can change that.  Besides they both seem to have the plan to make any
patches the next full-packaged release.... GP4, GP5.....  and
considering how long it took to develope GP3, don't expect much in the
way of major advancements with each title... basically track and car
upgrades....

It's a fact that we must face that GP3 may not the  most excellent sim
graphically of its time, although since it uses 3D now and its bound to
clean up on a few from GP2 I can't see why it would look bad.

However, if you judge this game on its looks then this probably isn't the
sim for you.

NFS suits the taste you describe,

I don't understand why people complain that sims left things out and that
they have poor frame rates.

GPL has not got rain and nothing has it like GP3 will.
GPL has fairly slow frame rates and claim they left out the rain because the
frame rates would not be good.
