Answering my own question..it DOES work. The question is how well. I
connected the other night with someone but we had poor latency. We
didn't try reconnecting to see if it could improve. Still it DID run
(albeit somewhat choppy).

I don't know if I saw it at its best or worst. Still worth experimenting
since The Zone is free.

Hey guy, its KuriK, we had a rough time that one night trying to get it
running, i did manage to host one race later in the evening, i really
dunno whats causing the problems, but i know it WILL work...hopefully
some of the gurus around here will help us figure it out.

We are going to try and see what we can do there in the ZoneLan section
this weekend. Since some changes were made a couple weeks ago in the Zone,
the latency levels have improved somewhat. No harm in trying.
