Does the CD install entirely to hard disk, or do I have to buy two copies
to play two player F1GP2 ( I suppose its not legal to play it using one
copy even if you could !!)

Often games will write the network code so that it checks to ensure that there
is a cd in at least one of the computers in your home network (descent comes to
mind). This allows you to install the program on more than one computer in your
local ipx. In fact, most of the games I've played are like this, (TACOPS C&C
come to mind too), though one annoying exception was NFS.
