GP3: wait for the patch before buying

Sometimes, if you pause a race to replay a nice action that you made, the replay
shows something completely different.(a crash for example) It was the impossible
to go back to "what really happened", and you were screwed.

Also happened to some replays. Driving a perfect hotlap, and the next day the
replay shows your car leaving the track (no, nothing edited!).

It's not as if happened all the time, though. Just now and then.

Nope. A patch might just as well add missing extra features that
should've been there and still be called a patch.

I had that happen on third party tracks but never on the
original ones.

Who says they "should have been there"? You can ALWAYS come up with so called
"missing features", since the development of a game has to stop somewhere.

Heck, they would never be able to release a new game that way. All they could do
was releasing "patches"!

The replay bug  happens on the original tracks.

As for Monaco, you only have to play all the original tracks to know that the
image densiity in Monaco far exceeded any other track. The rendering was all
too complex.

(try it on a P166/200).

looks that way........

Too bad.
I note earlier there was an interview with
Geff and in that interview, he sounded very
defensive about GP3

Now we know why......
sigh...
