I just installed Sports Car GT (bundled with a racing wheel). I selected
Software mode for rendering, and the graphics are puke. I mean there are no
colors, no textures, misaligned edges.
I selected Direct3D rendering, and before the track is displayed, I get the
following error:
Cube Error!
Error loading anim map file C:\PROGRAM FILES\ELECTRONIC ARTS\SPORTS CAR
GT\CHTA\MAPS\FLGA00.BMP.

Please tell me where to get this file. I could not find a CHTA folder in the
game folder on C: or on D:

I had this on my W2K box - it wasn't a SCGT problem really.  Damned if I can
remember exactly what I did but I think it was switching to a 16-bit desktop
and/or 800X600 or something like that.

I have the same problem, I have had to stop playing it cause I can't find
the answer for it. First I tried to altering resuloution and it worked. Next
time I played it the error came back. I tried switching of alpha blending
and other things but I still can't play it :(

Please post if you find a solution.

Have you added any cars or tracks? That may be the cause...

You'll probably get FLGA01 upto FLGA08 too. :)
The folder is probably inside a MAS file, which contains a virtual
directory. There's a MAS file IIRC which contains a lot of the MAPS.
Perhaps copying it might do the trick, or just installing full.
'Cube' btw is the file format name of ISI's model files.
