I'm finding that Standard is way too easy and Expert too hard. Somewhere in
the middle would be nice. I'm using timeout cheat (not really a cheat) to
get the correct season race lengths for the Championship but then you can
only play at Expert level. If you could lower or raise the performance of
the computer cars to somewhere inbetween the two it would be great. Any
ideas?

The upcoming patch will give you this possibility, using scripts. So you'll
have to wait some longer.
BTW By changing your car setup (downforce all the way to the left and gear
ratios: 6th all the way to the right (and spacing the other gears), you
shouldn't have too much trouble winning in expert mode...

There is a patch coming out with settings you can customise. I hope they have
an aggression setting. If you can make the cars lap within 1/2 second per lap
of your best time I reckon the game would be fantastic fun.
