Any Ferrari specific PC games ??

Okay, I've got NFS PU (cool game), F1 2001 w/mods, F1 2002 w/mods and now I
thought it'd be nice to have some prancing ponies adorn my screen in a same
make kinda game. Not GPL, or F1 style, something like 355 challenge (for DC
(which is not that bad considering the age and platform)) something like PU
would be ideal......but I'd settle for same model racing even. Is there such
a thing?? Not the new mod coming out, something out now and or has been ??
Thanks simmers.

I wish. I would pay $200 for "NFS: Ferrari Unleashed." If EA produced
it, with the same level of quality as PU, I would have to take a couple
of weeks vacation from my job, send the wife and kids away for a while,
buy a new computer, construct a rumble seat, buy a TSW wheel and pedal
set, well...you get the idea. I am a Ferrari nut :-) There is so much
heritage and racing history to the Ferrari marque, a game like this
would be heaven if it was done right.

I second this all the way. Porsche Unleashed might not have been
*** realistic, but the feel was good enough, and the whole
experience was the most fun I ever had playing a driving game/sim.
The mad run to the dock without scratching the car had me shouting
obscenities after the 5th unsuccessful attempt. I quit the game in
disgust, and was back at it within half an hour. That's the sign of a
great game!
Ferrari would be a natural for another in this series, probably better
than Porsche, since they varied their models much more.
I'd probably love any marque. Imagine how good a Chevy game could be
with muscle Chevelles, Yenko Camaros, turbo Covair Monza's for the 4
banger fans, right on up to the ZR-1 and  Z06 Vette.

I agree that Ferrari would be great. I wonder, though, if Ferrari themselves
would make that difficult. I bet they'd want a lot more money than Porsche
would. They don't need that publicity to sell their cars, and they think
very highly of their image.

I just played some Porsche Unleashed  that I paid 10 bucks for at
K-Mart. It was so fun, I think I'll buy a $100,000+ 911 Turbo!

In my dreams! :)
Supercars sell themselves. I don't think anyone is swayed by a
videogame at that level.

Ferrari's have been licensed for other games.  It shouldn't be a problem.

True, but there's hasn't been a dedicated PC Ferrari game before, and the
only one I know of at all (355 Challenge) is from a few years back. They've
started to charge much higher licencing fees in the past couple of years,
and would want a lot for a game like this.

Couldn't you just set up a one-make race in GTR2002 for just 550s or
360s?  Or is it a retail game you're after?
