I wish. I would pay $200 for "NFS: Ferrari Unleashed." If EA produced
it, with the same level of quality as PU, I would have to take a couple
of weeks vacation from my job, send the wife and kids away for a while,
buy a new computer, construct a rumble seat, buy a TSW wheel and pedal
set, well...you get the idea. I am a Ferrari nut :-) There is so much
heritage and racing history to the Ferrari marque, a game like this
would be heaven if it was done right.

I second this all the way. Porsche Unleashed might not have been
*** realistic, but the feel was good enough, and the whole
experience was the most fun I ever had playing a driving game/sim.
The mad run to the dock without scratching the car had me shouting
obscenities after the 5th unsuccessful attempt. I quit the game in
disgust, and was back at it within half an hour. That's the sign of a
great game!
Ferrari would be a natural for another in this series, probably better
than Porsche, since they varied their models much more.
I'd probably love any marque. Imagine how good a Chevy game could be
with muscle Chevelles, Yenko Camaros, turbo Covair Monza's for the 4
banger fans, right on up to the ZR-1 and Z06 Vette.
I agree that Ferrari would be great. I wonder, though, if Ferrari themselves
would make that difficult. I bet they'd want a lot more money than Porsche
would. They don't need that publicity to sell their cars, and they think
very highly of their image.
In my dreams! :)
Supercars sell themselves. I don't think anyone is swayed by a
videogame at that level.
