TEAM CHECKERED FLAG MOTORSPORTS TO BE JOINED BY EDDIE PETTIT

RICHMOND, VA - January 15, 2001  --  Team Checkered Flag Motorsports to be
joined by Eddie Pettit.

Eddie Pettit is relatively new to online Nascar Racing, having limited
online race experience in Nascar Racing 2.  However, in Nascar Racing 3,
Eddie has proven to be a front runner by taking the 1999 Pro Racing Club's
Tuesday Night Thunder Championship, placing second in the 1999 Pro Racing
Club's Sunday Night Nascar Championship and finishing in the top 5 in a
handful of other series in 2000.  Eddie's Papyrus sim racing experience goes
back to the original Indy Car racing and the Nascar Racing titles, where he
raced friends modem to modem.  Eddie also brings his PR and business sense
to the TCF table.  Eddie will continue to work with Wall Scrapers Racing on
a limited
basis within the PRC.

Team Checkered Flag Motorsports (http://www.racesimcentral.net/) was
formed in January of 1998.  TCFM got it's start in a pickup race where the
two founding members, Jack Kloeber and Allen Boyd literally came together.
They began to race together in pickup races and started exchanging setups.
Allen asked Jack to team up with him in what would be his first year in a
new league called SCOR. Jack agreed.  They each brought along
good friends to the team. Jack brought on Kevin Gerth (Kegg), the two raced
each other by modem feverishly before the days of TEN. Allen brought along
long time friend Charles Stevens (C_Stevens), who was really pumped when TEN
came along, Allen had raced Charles quite often by modem with Nascar1.  Team
Checkered Flag Motorsports took its name from a racing restaurant "Checkered
Flag" that was in Lakeside Industrial Park in Mooresville. Ironically, the
restaurant is now gone, but TCFM racing is still around and we have no plans
of "going out
of business".
