Running F1-2000 (w/patch) on a 950amd/win2k/gforce2(64meg video ram)/256
ram/40gig hd...

The game did run normally for a while after move to new machine and win2k..but
now it will let me get as far as loading the track and boom-back to desk top.
Tried reinstall with patch, still no luck.  Did let me run a test day last nite
but now nothing...any suggestions appreciated

Exactly the same problem has happened to me!  Better resolve it today as I'm
upgrading my GF2 Ultra to GF3 Ti500 later this morning!

Solved it!
Have you resampled the ferbody.bmp file at all as recommended on the F1 2001
driving Italia site?  I had, and that was causing the crash.  I put back
Ralph H's 1024x1024 file and everything is back to normal!

where do I find this file?  Where do I put it in the program when I get it?  (A
lot of this patching stuff is new to me..)..
