To get rid of the CD check in the UK version of GPL 1.2.0.1
do the following:
- Make a backup of your GPL.exe file, just in case....
- Open GPL.exe in the Hex editor of your choice.
- Goto offset 0x22F96
- You'll find a 74 there, replace it with EB
- save the file, run the game, have fun....
