Probally Too Much For Nascar 3

I worked in winston cup racing for several years as a crew member and have
since retired. I throughly enjoy nascar2 but really miss some things that are
not in the simulator. Most of what I'm talking about are bells and whistles
that probally will never make it in the game but its still nice to ask for it.
Being able to come off the track and drive behind the wall in to your garage
stall with the other cars etc... During qualifying, having your car in line on
pit road as you sit there waiting your turn to qualify. also I think it would
be nice to have the option of watching your car go through inspection. Several
more things I could list but I think you get the general idea. I just think it
would be great to have some of these "behind the scenes" type features
provided it didn't take away from the effort put in to making the on track
experience more realistic. Now, if they can just learn how to simulate those
grilled burgers and hotdogs we were always treated to when the garage breaks
for lunch. :) Just my 2 cents. I look forward to reading all comments.

Hopefully if they do release the NASCAR manager sim add-on, and it lives
up to billing, we will get to have a liitle more behind the scenes
action. From what i have heard the Manager will be a little bit more
into the business side of things, but it will definately create a more
whole experience.

Yeah, and a fine set of SNAP-ON tools to come with N3 would also be nice
;-)
Look also at the NASCAR 3 wish list posted in this group.

You are a man after my own heart.
Sitting on the pit road waiting for the call
"Drivers Start Your Engines" and then reaching for
the button to fire the engine, blip the gas a few times and
then press in the clutch, select 1st gear and ease out the
clutch and move out onto the track for the start.

As you said it's bells and whistle but, it would add to the
effect.

Rear wheel spin needs a good look at. I would prefered that
the tires only spin if you rev first and then drop the clutch.
That way we could get a quick turn around after a spin and if
need be have better non-skid take offs by gently reving the
engine a letting out the clutch. More real-world control.
At best A Need For Speed does it well.

Just to let you and others know, DON'T post your real e-mail address in
the headers AND the body of your message. Those spammers scan the groups
for e-mail addresses in the headers AND in any other text in messages.
Keep the "remove" in your address above and just tell people to remove
it like you did.

Since I, for the fifth time, changed my address and did what I just
said, I have not been spammed even once in the last 3 months. I also
don't post my real address anywhere so no one can e-mail me unless I
specifically give it to them. I finally beat them :)
