Erm. That is real DOS.
Win2000, like WinNT, doesn't have that. They can run a DOS window,
but they can't get to real DOS.

You'd be suprised how many old dos games work in NT4 or Win2K. Check out

| You don't need real DOS; you can still run ICR2-3D by booting to DOS
| mode (at least in Win9x).

Can you still do that? I was under the impression that you couldn't
anymore starting with Win98SE (I only have the orig 98). I have ICR2
running with a custom autoexec and config that are set up in the
Advanced tab of the Program properties dialog.

Not really. I'm pretty sure that most that run in 9x under a DOS
window would work fine in NT. It's the ones that need the boot to DOS
that would have problems, and those aren't too many.
More common, however, is no sound unless booting to DOS, a problem
that would probably hit frequently under NT?

Depends on if you want to be bothered. I still do it, though I
doubt I will when I get my new machine. Pretty easy, however.
