OLR: As Paul Harvey would Say: Now for the rest of the story...

You all have heard what VP, Jamie Blackmon said about me
where he has the bully pulpit at OLR.  Now visit the
www.ivga.com and hear the real story.  I had a great
working relationship with the brothers that proceeded
Jamie Blackmon and worked great as well helping
Ed Alexander.   Jamie left out alot of stuff.  Now for
the rest of the story..  I asked for what i was promised
with 4 little words and I got that email from Jamie Blackmon
who you would think you want to build OLR not tear it
down.

OLR: As Paul Harvey would Say: Now for the rest of the story...

I have to tell you Don, that I had a fairly similar experience a year or two
back regarding a LAN event they were putting on in Myrtle Beach. I have a
particular hearing problem that mandates that I NEVER EVER wear earphones
for stereos and using one for a cell phone is discouraged as well (else
there is a 90%+ chance I will end up deaf). This Blackmon fella was pretty
common back then too saying the rules were the rules, either I wore
headphones to race or I was not welcome to their precious event. No efforts
go into them doing anything that doesn't benefit them or their friends
directly it appears.

Then there's the story from the guy that went to that event or their next
one and got shuffled to some back room, even though he had earned the right
to be in the main room, sjust o the OLR 'good old boys' club (lead by the
Blackmons) could all be together without outside interference the way I
heard it.

SO, I started my own server and league and blew OLR off and told as many
people as would listen about how NOT above board this whole OLR scam was and
still is from what I can tell.
