According to the readme they did indeed fix the
problem.  However, I haven't installed them yet
to find out.

I run at 1600*1200 so can't comment on the bug but they are working great at
that res with 4XAA, better than the 3.10s so far.  Seem smoother and bit
better performance.

> What is that bug?

I only read about it and never tried it, but it seems that at a
resolution of 1280x1024x32 (and _only_ there), when you drive in the
kite flyer view, you see a flickering bar at the bottom of the screen.

This does not happen at 1280x960x32 according to what I read.

I saw a little review with speed comparison of the 4.10 drivers
yesterday, though, and I don't think there's a reason to upgrade to them
as the only noticeable addition seems to be that they now show you the
temperature of your gfx card in the control panel.

I've found the 3.9 to run very well under W2k and I'll keep them for a
while. Under WinME I'll keep the 3.7 which run very well there.

   Then this isn't a problem right?  :)

Graphic Anomolies in 1280X1024X32.  I can attest that they do exist.

Actually, they didn't fix _that_ bug.  They fixed something else.

It's still listed in the Known Issues list.

Not a bug! I've contacted ATI and asked that they add same to all
resolution of all racing sims.

He is slamming the kite drivers.  You know how certainly people want to
prevent others from having fun and what not by enforcing their one minded
view on how a game is suppose to be used ;-)
