For all of you who in the UK who can't wait until Game and EB have MCM2 in
stock on 23rd June, you may like to know that I bought it today from WH
Smith at the Trafford Centre in Manchester for 29.99.  I was so surprised
to see it that I thought it had been released earlier than originally
stated.  I popped over to EB who said they didn't have it and that Smiths
may have struck an exclusive deal.  Obviously the only downer on the deal is
that you can't take it back if you don't like it.

BTW it is definitely MCM2 and not MCM.

Cheers

Phil

As a postscript to my own post, I would love to be able to tell you what the
game is like,  Unfortunately the CD was faulty and would not install with
numerous file copy error messages.  I've just got back from the shop and
someone else had bought the other copy they had, so no MCM2 for me for a
couple of weeks.  Oh well, back to GPL I suppose.

Cheers

Phil -

I think you have been dealing with a shop that sold you an American copy, which
will not work on
European machines.

Cheers,

Andrew

Why won't a U.S copy of  Motocross Madness 2 work in the U.K ? I have bought
3 or 4 games on import from the 'States and they work perfectly.

There's a region setting in Windoze9x, that's how a PC becomes a European.
Of course, most FPS fans in Germany have their region settings set to US
to get around the "save-the-children-from-***" program.
