FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PDPI and ACT LABS Join Together to Create Major Advancement in PC Racing
Controller Technology

Simi Valley, CA. March 2, 1999 - Pacific Digital Peripherals, Inc.,
manufacturer of dedicated digital game cards for the PC, has joined ACT
LABS Ltd., of Richmond, BC, Canada in the development of a new
technology to optimize ACT LABS' award winning multi-platform RS Racing
System for use with PDPI's highly advanced L4 Digital Game Card.

The link between the L4 and the ACT LABS RS Racing System is greatly
enhanced through a specially designed "RS Racing Engine" cartridge to
optimize operation of the RS Racing System when used in conjunction with
the L4. PDPI's newly developed Voltage Feed? technology, incorporated in
the special new ACT LABS' PDPI L4 cartridge, provides a rock-solid,
ultra high-precision interface. The cartridge also offers a
user-selectable option for combined or separate Brake/Gas support. The
newer racing simulations designed to provide for the use of separate
brake and gas axes for increased control are greatly enhanced by the
availability of this selection.

Spokesmen from the two companies claim the new Voltage Feed? technology
is guaranteed to outperform all known PC racecar controller
technologies, including all conventional analog and digital devices
currently available. Voltage Feed? is currently only available through
the combination of the ACT LABS RS Racing System? and the PDPI L4?
dedicated digital PC game card with the specially designed PDPI L4
version of the ACT LABS RS Racing Engine? Cartridge.

PDPI's president William R. Alfano, states: "Back when racecar
controllers were initially conceived, games and simulations were nowhere
near as demanding for realism and control as they are today. It has
become increasingly important to provide more precise control and faster
response as the games and simulations have grown more action-oriented.
Today's breed of racing sim enthusiast has evolved considerably in both
sophistication and expectation. In today's world of 450 MHz computers,
hardware accelerated graphics, and such realistically detailed racing
simulation environments that tire pressure and temperature have an
effect on the racecar's performance, racing simmers are no longer in any
position to settle for the unresponsive, jittery controllers of
seven*** years ago".
